It has been more than 20 years since The Little Mermaid came out. I saw that movie as a little girl and it has stuck with me. Probably the most "stuck" part is the music. I start singing many songs from it during normal conversation, like "that's what I live for. . . . to help unfortunate merfolk, like yourself. Poor souls with no one else to turn to." Or, there's the ever infamous "Les Poissons." Or "look at this stuff, isn't it neat?"
I am grateful for fun childhood memories and music!
