Megan and Kelley came over today to decorate gingerbread houses. We used the recipe that my family had used when I was growing up. It was really fun to see how creative everyone got. I was happy as well that both Kelley and Megan kept expressing how much fun they were having. They had never made a gingerbread house out of real gingerbread before. :) It was also satisfying to participate in a tradition that I've loved since I was a child.
I'm grateful for holiday traditions!
